Udhampur District Election Office Schedules EVM Checking and Verification Process from September 18

Udhampur 10 September :- The Office of the District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner), Udhampur, has issued a formal intimation to all eligible candidates of political parties from Assembly Constituency-61 Chenani, District Udhampur, regarding the schedule and venue for the EVM Checking and Verification (C&V) process.

In a letter numbered DDEO/U/25/1617 and dated September 10, 2025, the office announced that the process is set to commence on September 18, 2025, and will continue daily until its completion. The designated timing for the procedure each day is from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The entire C&V process will be conducted at the Government Degree College for Boys in Udhampur. Political parties and their candidates have been formally invited to witness the proceedings, which will be carried out in strict adherence to the prescribed guidelines of the Election Commission of India.

The District Election Officer, Saloni Rai, IAS, has also requested that the recipients provide an acknowledgment of the intimation letter to her office for official record-keeping purposes.
