Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Reviews Land Records, AgriStack, and Administrative Cases

Srinagar, August 1: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg chaired a meeting with Deputy Commissioners today to review the progress of compassionate appointment cases, SVAMITA matters under MAPS 1.0, AgriStack implementation, and the locking of Jamabandies across the division.

During the district-wise review, Anshul Garg emphasized the need for close monitoring to achieve targets within stipulated timelines and instructed officials to expedite the disposal of all pending compassionate appointment cases according to established procedures.

In addition to administrative reviews, the Divisional Commissioner directed Deputy Commissioners to submit details of public land and space encroachments by religious structures within two days for further action.

Addressing digital governance and law enforcement, he instructed officials to strictly enforce Information Department advisories regarding media channels and social media users to curb misinformation, warning that noncompliance would face punitive action.
