Samba Police Boost District Security with High-Impact CASO and Surprise Naka Operations

SAMBA, JULY 19, 2026 — In a major move to fortify public safety and elevate operational readiness, the Samba Police successfully executed a comprehensive area domination patrol and security exercise spanning from Nonath to Tapyal under the Ghagwal Police Station jurisdiction. Led by the Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP) Samba, the operation kicked off with a highly coordinated patrolling exercise where Road Opening Party (ROP) personnel received detailed briefings to guarantee flawless execution on the ground. To sharpen tactical capabilities, the Special Operations Group (SOG) Samba teamed up with the Central Reserve Police Force’s (CRPF) Quick Reaction Team (QRT) to conduct a joint Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) alongside a specialized Room Intervention Exercise.

Following the tactical maneuvers, security forces set up a surprise naka (checkpoint) at a strategic location to intercept and thoroughly inspect multiple vehicles, effectively deterring anti-social and unlawful activities in line with strict security protocols. Covering a critical three-kilometer stretch, the proactive operation significantly boosted police visibility and reinforced public confidence across the region. Commenting on the drive, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba emphasized that these area domination patrols, tactical drills, CASOs, and surprise checkpoints will remain a regular fixture to maintain a robust security framework, neutralize criminal or anti-national elements, and ensure absolute safety for the district’s residents.
