Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah Expresses Grief Over Doda Shooting-Stone Casualties, Orders Immediate Medical Care

JAMMU July 20, 2026: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic loss of three lives following shooting-stone incidents at Raggi Nallah and Jathi Ganika in Doda district. The natural disasters also left six other individuals injured. Conveying his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the Chief Minister prayed for the departed souls and wished a speedy, complete recovery to the injured.

To ensure rapid relief, Chief Minister Abdullah has directed the local district administration and health authorities to provide immediate and adequate medical care to those hospitalized, emphasizing that all possible assistance must be extended to the affected families without delay. Furthermore, he expressed deep sympathy for the families who suffered significant livestock losses due to a recent lightning strike at Mal Pathar Dhar.

Reaffirming the government’s steadfast commitment to standing by its citizens during natural calamities, the Chief Minister assured that the administration remains on high alert, closely monitoring the situation to deliver all necessary support to the impacted communities.
