Moving Eco car catches fire on flyover in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir

SAMBA, June 14 — A major accident was averted after a moving Maruti Eco car suddenly caught fire on a flyover near Mansar Morh in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The vehicle was heading toward Jammu from the Kathua side when the flames erupted, triggered panic among commuters on the route.

Upon receiving information about the incident, teams from the local police and the fire department rushed to the spot and managed to control the blaze after strenuous efforts.

While the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, police authorities confirmed that all occupants managed to exit the vehicle safely in time, resulting in no loss of life or injuries.
