Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit reviews Tejas LCA Mk1A and HTT 40 progress at HAL Bengaluru

BENGALURU, June 13, 2026—Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, the Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee, visited the Aircraft Division of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in Bengaluru.

During his visit, the Air Marshal conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing progress of the Tejas Light Combat Aircraft Mk1A programme. He also evaluated several other vital indigenous aviation projects currently under development at the facility, including the Hindustan Turbo Trainer 40.

The high-level visit underscores the continuous strategic focus on strengthening the aerospace capabilities of the nation. It highlights the ongoing efforts by defense and manufacturing authorities to accelerate domestic defense production and achieve self-reliance in military aviation technologies.
