Mehbooba Mufti visits AIIMS Awantipora to review project progress

Awantipora, June 5, 2026 :- Former Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti visited the AIIMS Awantipora project site today to inspect the ongoing construction work.

During the visit, she interacted with administrative officials and representing executing agencies to gain a firsthand understanding of the various challenges that are currently affecting the progress of the mega healthcare project.

The former chief minister appreciated the dedicated efforts being made by the stakeholders toward the early completion of the medical institute.

She assured the project officials of her full cooperation in raising and addressing the critical bottlenecks and issues that may be hindering the timely realization of this vital regional healthcare facility.
