Army holds outreach and motivation session for NCC cadets in Shikohabad
SHIKOHABAD 02 June — Army Recruiting Office Agra conducted an outreach and motivation session during the Combined Annual Training Camp organized by the 5 UP Battalion NCC at Delhi Public School in Shikohabad, reaching out to 490 NCC cadets.
The participating cadets were extensively briefed on various officer entry schemes, including the National Defence Academy, Combined Defence Services, Officers Training Academy, and the NCC Special Entry Scheme, alongside opportunities available under the Agnipath Scheme.
Special emphasis was laid on motivating girl cadets to join the Indian Army through diverse pathways, including the Agniveer Women Military Police program.
The session also addressed specific queries regarding recruitment processes, examinations, rally procedures, documentation, and medical standards, concluding with the distribution of publicity material to inspire the next generation to join the armed forces.
