Armed Forces Medical Services Welcomes 125 Young Officers at AMC Centre and College Ceremonial Parade

LUCKNOW, May 30 — The Officers Training College at the AMC Centre and College hosted a grand ceremonial parade to mark the commissioning of 125 young medical and dental officers, including 28 lady officers, into the Armed Forces Medical Services. Reviewing Officer Lieutenant General Shivinder Singh, Commandant of the AMC Centre and College, reviewed the parade of the Medical Officers Basic Course-257.

In his address, the commandant exhorted the newly commissioned officers to uphold the highest standards of compassion, humility, professionalism, and dedication while serving the nation.Aligning with the rapidly evolving character of modern warfare, the specialized training course imparted intensive instructions in military ethos, combat casualty care, and advanced trauma life support to thoroughly prepare the officers for the multifaceted challenges of contemporary battlefields.

Beyond the commissioning ceremony, the landmark occasion also witnessed the formal inauguration of a new ceremonial gate and an upgraded saluting dais at the premier training facility.
