POONCH, APRIL 29, 2026:- The 182 Battalion of the Border Security Force organized a successful blood donation camp today at its Unit Hospital in Mankote as part of the 100-Day Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

The event, which also marked the first anniversary of Operation Sindhoor, saw active participation from both BSF personnel and local civilians.

Officiated by 2IC and Officiating Commandant YPS Chauhan and supervised by Chief Medical Officer Parvaiz Ahmed Khan, the initiative resulted in the collection of 26 units of blood.

The medical team, including professionals from the local Public Health Center and District Hospital, ensured the camp followed strict health protocols to support the region’s emergency medical needs.

The collected blood units were deposited at the District Hospital Blood Bank to assist in critical surgeries and accident cases. Beyond the clinical success of the camp, the event served as a platform for strengthening civil-military relations, as a large number of local residents interacted with BSF officials throughout the day.

Parvaiz Ahmed Khan praised the 182 Battalion for their life-saving contribution and their commitment to public welfare. This humanitarian effort underscores the continued dedication of the Border Security Force toward social outreach and nation-building activities alongside their primary duty of border security.
