Srinagar Municipal Corporation Announces E Auction for Habba Khatoon Commercial Complex Shops

SRINAGAR, APRIL 29, 2026:-The Srinagar Municipal Corporation has officially invited bids for the allotment of built-up shops and office spaces at the Habba-Khatoon Commercial Complex in Parimpora.

This commercial opportunity is being facilitated through an online e-auction on the Government e-Marketplace portal, following an “as is where is” basis. The available units are spread across the ground, first, and second floors, with sizes ranging from 198 to over 600 square feet.

Allotments are offered for an initial period of ten years, with potential for extensions subject to approval from competent authorities.The bidding timeline begins with pre-qualification submissions from May 1 to May 8, followed by an assessment period.

Prospective bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit equivalent to 10% of the starting price between May 16 and May 20, with the final online bidding scheduled for May 22 and May 23. Starting prices for these prime commercial units are set between ₹22.28 lakh and ₹49.78 lakh.

Monthly rent has been established based on floor level, starting at ₹34 per square foot for the ground floor, and will remain fixed for the first three years before a scheduled 10% increase.

Commissioner Faz Lul Haseeb has emphasized that the auction process will be transparent, fair, and technology-driven to ensure equal opportunities for all eligible individuals, firms, and companies. Successful bidders are required to pay 25% of the bid amount within seven days of receiving a Letter of Intent, with the remaining balance due within 45 days.

To support applicants, the corporation has set up a dedicated help desk at the Karan Nagar Corporate Office and designated a property guide for on-site inspections. Participants are encouraged to visit the complex and review the full terms on the official website before the bidding window closes.
