CRPF Director General reviews security ahead of West Bengal second phase polling

New Delhi, April 25, 2026:- Ahead of the second phase of polling in the West Bengal assembly elections, the Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force, G. P. Singh, held a comprehensive review of security preparations with senior officials from the Central Armed Police Forces and District Force Commanders.

During the high-level meeting conducted via video conferencing, the Director General assessed the strategic deployment of personnel to ensure a secure environment for voters.The Director General took the opportunity to commend the security forces for their professionalism and dedication during the first phase of the elections.

He emphasized the importance of strictly adhering to the guidelines set by the Election Commission of India to maintain a transparent and peaceful atmosphere. The force reaffirmed its commitment to providing a safe polling process as the state prepares for the next round of voting.
