Jammu Power Shutdown Scheduled for Janipur Gladni and Kathua Areas on April 25 and 26
JAMMU, APRIL 24: Chief Engineer Distribution JPDCL Jammu has announced a scheduled power shutdown affecting several key locations on April 25. Residents in the High Court Complex, SDM Office Janipur, Pamposh Colony, Janipur Colony, New Plot, Ambedkar Nagar, Talli Morh, and surrounding areas should expect interruptions from 7 am to 12 noon.
Additionally, a major shutdown involving the 710MVA Gladni Grid Station and its feeding 220 KV transmission lines, including the Gladni Salal and Gladni-Chowadhi circuits, has been re-scheduled for April 25 from 6.30 am to 1 pm to facilitate essential maintenance work.
Further maintenance activities will impact parts of Kathua on the following day. Superintending Engineer Distribution JPDCL O&M Circle Kathua informed that the power supply to Chack Ludan, Patel Nagar, Shiva Nagar, Krishna Colony, Shaheedi Chowk, Kalibari, and nearby vicinities will remain affected on April 26.
This specific outage is slated to occur between 8 am and 1 pm. Local authorities have advised consumers to plan accordingly for these temporary disruptions as the department carries out necessary upgrades to the distribution network.
