CISF Enhances Security with Advanced Remote Technology at Mopa Airport

MOPA, April 17, 2026:- The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has significantly bolstered its security infrastructure at Manohar International Airport (Mopa) following the induction of a Mini Remotely Operated Vehicle (MROV).

Handed over by GMR Goa International Airport Limited (GGIAL) to the CISF Aviation Security Group (ASG) on April 16, 2026, this advanced equipment is designed to enhance the operational readiness of the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS).

The official ceremony was attended by the Chief Airport Security Officer (CASO), the Chief Security Officer of GGIAL, and other high-ranking officials, highlighting the seamless institutional coordination aimed at maintaining gold-standard safety in civil aviation operations.

By integrating this specialized technology, the CISF has strengthened its rapid response capabilities and overall airport security preparedness, ensuring a safer environment for travelers and staff alike.
