Scheduled Power Shutdown in Jammu, Katra, and Kathua Districts Starting April 10

JAMMU, APRIL 09: The Chief Engineer (Distribution) of JPDCL Jammu has announced a scheduled power shutdown affecting several key locations and industrial zones to facilitate essential maintenance.

On April 10, power supply to Katra, Chintamani, Kun, Jammu Road, Aghar Jitto, SimSam Hotel, American Hotel, and surrounding areas will be suspended from 9 am to 4 pm.

Additionally, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL, O&M Circle Kathua, has notified residents that Patli Badoi, Gowal, and adjoining regions will face outages on April 10, 12, and 14 between 8 am and 1 pm.

Further maintenance work will impact Vijaypur and its neighboring areas on April 11, 15, and 17 from 8 am to 1 pm. Specific industrial and rural feeders are also included in the schedule; the Kanhal Industry area will see a brief disruption on April 11 from 8 am to 11 am, while Sandhi and its vicinity will be affected on April 12 from 8 am to 2 pm.

Finally, Purmandal and adjoining areas are slated for a power cut on April 13 from 8 am to 2 pm. The JPDCL has advised consumers to plan accordingly and regrets any inconvenience caused by these necessary technical upgrades.
