Amod Ashok Nagpure Takes Charge as SSP Anantnag to Enhance Public Safety and Policing

ANANTNAG, April 8, 2026— Amod Ashok Nagpure, an officer of the Indian Police Service, officially assumed the role of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Anantnag today following a formal handing-over ceremony at the District Police Headquarters.

Before beginning his new assignment, Nagpure visited the District Police Lines to pay heartfelt tributes to police martyrs, honoring their supreme sacrifice for the nation with a solemn salute.

The transition was marked by a professional handover from the outgoing SSP, Amrit Paul Singh, after which Nagpure was welcomed with a ceremonial Guard of Honour and warm greetings from senior district police officers.
