Trump Urges Allies to Secure Own Energy Supplies Amid Middle East Tensions
WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a bold social media post on Truth Social, President Donald Trump addressed international allies regarding the ongoing global energy crisis and maritime security in the Middle East. Highlighting the disruptions caused by blockages in the Strait of Hormuz, the President criticized nations like the United Kingdom for their perceived lack of involvement in recent military actions against Iran.
Trump signaled a significant shift in American foreign policy, suggesting that the era of the United States providing unconditional security for global oil routes is coming to an end.
The President offered a two-fold solution to countries currently facing jet fuel shortages: purchasing energy directly from the United States or taking direct military action to secure their own interests in the region.
“Build up some delayed courage, go to the Strait, and just TAKE IT,” Trump wrote, emphasizing that “the U.S.A. won’t be there to help you anymore.”
Asserting that Iran has been “essentially decimated,” the President’s message serves as a stern reminder to traditional allies that they must now take independent responsibility for their resource security and defense strategies.
