Udhampur Police Organize Drug Awareness Rally in Majalta

UDHAMPUR, May 05 — As part of the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, the Udhampur Police conducted an extensive drug awareness rally in Majalta to combat the rising issue of substance abuse.

The event saw a strong turnout, including police officials from the Majalta station, the local Tehsildar, shopkeepers, and students. Together, the participants marched to highlight the importance of maintaining a drug-free community and to foster a sense of collective responsibility among residents.

During the program, organizers educated the public on the destructive impact that drug addiction has on individuals, families, and the broader social fabric. Speakers emphasized that eliminating the drug menace requires a unified effort from all sectors of society.
