SSP Samba Anuj Kumar Leads Massive Anti Drug Awareness Rally in Bari Brahmana

Samba: April 18, 2026:- The Samba Police organized an extensive anti-drug awareness rally at Bari Brahmana today as part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan to educate the public on the devastating effects of narcotics.

Led by SSP Samba Anuj Kumar, the event featured the participation of Additional SP Samba, SDPO Bari Brahmana, and SHO Bari Brahmana, alongside a large gathering of local youth, community leaders, and police personnel.

Students from various educational institutions, including Humanity Public School, Bharti Public School, Star Secondary School of Intellectuals, and local government schools, joined the initiative to help spread the message against substance abuse throughout the town.

The rally commenced at SIDCO Chowk and navigated through several key locations, including the Main Bazar, Railway Station Chowk, and Bishnah Road, before concluding back at its starting point.

Throughout the march, participants carried banners and posters and chanted slogans to highlight the dangers of drug addiction and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

While addressing the attendees, SSP Anuj Kumar reaffirmed the police department’s resolve to eliminate the drug menace by targeting traffickers and suppliers with strict legal measures.

He emphasized that these large-scale awareness programs are essential for protecting the younger generation and encouraged the community to actively support the mission of creating a drug-free society.
