SSP Mohita Sharma Inspects District Police Lines Kathua to Boost Operational Readiness

Kathua, May 9, 2026:- Senior Superintendent of Police Kathua Mohita Sharma conducted a comprehensive inspection of the District Police Lines to evaluate the discipline, infrastructure, and operational preparedness of the force.

Accompanied by senior officers including the Additional SP Kathua and SP Operations, the inspection covered a wide array of administrative functions, including the maintenance of barracks, mess facilities, vehicle management, and the storage of arms and ammunition.

During the review, special emphasis was placed on upholding high professional standards and ensuring strict cleanliness and hygiene across all branches of the police establishment.

In addition to reviewing administrative records, the inspection focused heavily on the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS-112). Mohita Sharma thoroughly examined the unit’s response mechanisms and issued direct instructions to improve coordination and the speed of public service delivery.

All branch heads were directed to implement these efficiency-boosting measures immediately. The SSP concluded the visit by urging all personnel to work with increased accountability and dedication, reinforcing the department’s commitment to maintaining a smooth and responsive police administration for the benefit of the public.
