Meerut Cantonment Launches Aarogyam Womens Wellness Clinic for Army Families

MEERUT, June 26, 2026 — In a major initiative toward advancing women’s holistic health, the Aarogyam Women’s Wellness Clinic was officially inaugurated today by Major General Sumit Rana, GOC HQ Pashchim UP Sub Area, at the Abdul Hamid Sainik Institute in Meerut Cantonment. Conceptualized by Brigadier Vikram Patra, the newly established wellness hub operates as a satellite facility of the Military Hospital Meerut and is dedicated to serving the spouses and families of Army personnel.

The center aims to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being by offering a broad spectrum of integrated services, which include specialized medical and gynecological facilities, professional counseling services, nutritional and dietary guidance, yoga and meditation sessions, and therapeutic sound therapy.

The landmark opening ceremony was attended by the Station Commander, the Commandant of Military Hospital Meerut, representatives from the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA), along with various officers, families, and community members, highlighting the Indian Army’s continuous commitment to preventive healthcare, resilience, and the empowerment of military families.
