ARNIA, June 26, 2026 — In a major push to fortify regional security and sustain peace along the border belt, Police Station Arnia joined forces with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and the Border Security Force (BSF) to execute a comprehensive Joint Long Range Patrolling (LRP) exercise today. The collaborative operation spanned an extensive route from Rathana to Salehar and Chak Jagtoo, encompassing several adjoining border areas. The primary objective of the synchronized operation was to maintain a strict vigil over the sensitive border region, preemptively deter anti-social elements, and project a highly visible security presence.

The joint deployment commenced in the early hours of the morning and concluded peacefully at approximately 9:30 AM. Throughout the exercise, the patrolling teams actively interacted with local residents, reassuring them of their safety while closely monitoring the terrain. The dominant presence of the Police, BSF, and CISF personnel served as a strong deterrent to criminal elements and successfully instilled a deep sense of security among the border population. This proactive initiative underscores the Jammu Police’s unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order, optimizing inter-agency coordination, and safeguarding citizens residing in vulnerable border territories.
