Punjab Police Director General Dedicated State-of-the-Art Integrated Command and Control Centre to Ludhiana Citizens

Ludhiana, May 5: Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav visited Ludhiana today as part of a ground-zero tour to review local policing and reinforce the adoption of technology-driven systems.

During the visit, the Director General held a comprehensive meeting with field officers, where he emphasized the importance of swift, citizen-centric resolutions for public grievances.

The visit aimed to ensure that the force remains focused on efficient service delivery and proactive law enforcement.The Director General dedicated an upgraded state-of-the-art Integrated Command and Control Centre to the citizens, marking a significant advancement in preventive policing.

By integrating traffic management, PCR units, Safe City initiatives, and wireless communication systems into a single platform, the center has improved operational synergy.

This integration has notably enhanced coordination and reduced PCR response times from 15 minutes to approximately seven or eight minutes.The state’s flagship enforcement drives, including the campaigns against drugs and organized crime, continue to show strong results across the region.

To foster camaraderie and spirit within the ranks, the Director General joined police personnel for a traditional meal at the Police Lines.

Sharing the meal with over 550 officers, the Director General highlighted that such interactions are essential for maintaining unity and a collective commitment to public service.
