Pulwama Police Arrest Drug Peddler and Seize Contraband in Lassipora
PULWAMA, May 11, 2026:- Pulwama Police intensified their crackdown on drug trafficking with the arrest of a peddler during a checkpoint operation at Lassipora.
A team from the Litter Police Station established a naka near the Lassipora Block Office, where they intercepted a motorcyclist traveling from SIDCO Lassipora toward the local market.
During a thorough search of the individual and the vehicle, officers recovered approximately 204 grams of a substance appearing to be charas sticks.Following the recovery, a formal case has been registered at the Litter Police Station under relevant sections of the law, and a detailed investigation is now underway to determine the source of the narcotics.
Authorities have reiterated their resolve to eliminate the drug menace from the region and urged citizens to continue supporting law enforcement by sharing information regarding illegal activities.
