Minister Sakeena Itoo Visits Injured Journalist Ubaid Malik at JVC Hospital Bemina

SRINAGAR, MAY 15, 2026 :- Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare, and Education, Sakeena Itoo, visited JVC Hospital Bemina today to inquire about the well-being of journalist Ubaid Malik, who was injured yesterday after a tree fell on him in the Kunzer area of Tangmarg.

During her visit, the Minister interacted with the attending doctors and hospital administration to take a detailed stock of the medical services being provided. She issued strict directives to the medical team to ensure advanced care and round-the-clock monitoring to facilitate a speedy recovery for the journalist.

While interacting with the family members of Ubaid Malik, Sakeena Itoo assured them that the government would provide the best possible medical assistance throughout his treatment.
