Two NSCN-K insurgents surrender to Assam Rifles and Arunachal Pradesh Police
KHETI, June 30, 2026 :- Assam Rifles, functioning under the Spear Corps, partnered with the Arunachal Pradesh Police to facilitate the voluntary surrender of two active NSCN-K insurgents in the Kheti region of Arunachal Pradesh.
During the joint operation, the turning-in cadres handed over two pistols, magazines, and eight rounds of live ammunition to the security forces.
Necessary legal formalities and a comprehensive rehabilitation process are currently underway to integrate the individuals back into society, marking another significant stride toward establishing long-term regional peace.
