Ladakh records impressive improvement in CBSE Class 10 and 12 results
LEH, May 16, 2026 — Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Vinai Kumar Saxena announced that the Union Territory has achieved remarkable success in the recently declared CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.
The academic results showed a significant improvement in both the overall pass percentage and individual student performances across the region.
The Lieutenant Governor praised the tireless efforts of the entire education team, including teachers, masters, lecturers, and students, who worked diligently to overcome the unique geographical and environmental challenges of the remote region, such as limited connectivity and harsh weather conditions during the crucial exam months of February and March.
He also extended his gratitude to the Department of School Education and Literacy and the CBSE for their constant guidance and unwavering support in helping Ladakh achieve this academic milestone.
