Jammu and Kashmir lieutenant governor directs immediate relief after Reasi cloudburst

REASI, June 04, 2026:The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, communicated directly with the Deputy Commissioner of Reasi to evaluate the ground situation following a cloudburst at Bathoi village.

While the natural disaster caused damage to several residential houses in the area, the administration confirmed that no casualties or injuries have been reported from the site.

Following the assessment, the lieutenant governor issued strict directives to the district administration to immediately deploy relief operations and provide all necessary assistance to the affected families.
