Jammu Administration Drives Digital Shift: ADDC Promotes Business Onboarding on Mission YUVA Seller App
JAMMU, JULY 29 — In a major push toward empowering local trade through digital commerce, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Jammu, Sher Singh, chaired a key meeting with representatives of various business and market associations to encourage the onboarding of retail enterprises onto the Mission YUVA Seller App. Built on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), the commission-free platform allows micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to expand their market reach seamlessly without incurring traditional platform fees.
During the session, Assistant Director Employment Mukhlis Ali demonstrated the onboarding procedure, while Deputy Director Employment Sunaina Saini outlined the broader benefits of Jammu and Kashmir’s flagship Mission YUVA initiative, including financial assistance, free AI-enabled Detailed Project Report (DPR) preparation, business mentoring, and dedicated handholding support by the District Employment & Counselling Centre. Emphasizing the need for physical retailers to adapt to expanding online marketplaces to stay competitive, ADDC Sher Singh urged all commercial establishments to register on the platform. The participating business leaders welcomed the initiative, actively offering suggestions and confirming their commitment to joining the app to leverage the Union Territory’s robust entrepreneurial ecosystem.
