POONCH, JULY 29 — On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day, the Indian Army organized a comprehensive health awareness programme at Government High School, Fatehpur, in the Haribudha area of Poonch district. The initiative aimed to educate students and faculty about hepatitis prevention, early detection, and treatment options. During the session, Army personnel highlighted the causes, symptoms, and transmission modes of the disease, emphasizing the critical role of personal hygiene, safe drinking water, sanitation, and timely Hepatitis B vaccination.
