Indian Army Hosts Outreach Event for Ex-Servicemen in Pargal, Rajouri

RAJOURI, Jul 09 ,2026: The Indian Army organised an interaction with ex-servicemen at Pargal, Rajouri, to honour veterans and express gratitude for their dedicated service to the nation. The event aimed to strengthen the bond between the Indian Army and the local veteran community within the Area of Responsibility.

A total of five ex-servicemen from Pargal and nearby villages participated in the interaction, sharing their views openly and appreciating the initiative to remain connected with them and their families. During the event, officers and Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) engaged with the veterans to discuss various welfare aspects. The Army provided guidance on pension-related matters and assured the ex-servicemen of continued support in resolving any discrepancies or service-related concerns.
