IG CRPF Amol V. Homkar Reviews Operation Sheruwali Progress During High-Level Security Meet in Rajouri

RAJOURI, May 28, 2026: Strengthening counter-terrorism grid strategies along the border sectors, Amol V. Homkar, IPS, Inspector General (IG) of Jammu Sector CRPF, conducted a comprehensive two-day operational review of ‘Operation Sheruwali’ at Gambhir Mughlan in Rajouri on May 25–26, 2026.

During the extensive field assessment, the senior officer held high-level multi-agency interactions with top commanders from the Indian Army, Jammu & Kashmir Police (JKP), and the Intelligence Bureau (IB) to streamline joint tactical response systems and maximize inter-force synergy. Addressing the forward-deployed personnel on the ground, the IG strongly motivated the troops to maintain an unflinching mission focus, sharp vigilance, and seamless teamwork while operating under highly challenging terrain and environmental conditions to successfully ensure regional peace and security.
