Army Commander reviews Kharga Sappers operational readiness on river Ganges

HARIDWAR, May 1, 2026:- Army Commander Pushpendra Singh of the Western Command conducted a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness of the Kharga Sappers during a Combat Engineering Training Camp held on the river Ganges.

The training event focused on the execution of complex engineering tasks essential for supporting the large-scale movements of the Kharga Corps. During the review, the formation successfully validated its technical capabilities and tactical proficiency through a series of deliberate and mission-focused exercises designed to simulate real-world battlefield conditions.

The successful completion of these exercises demonstrates the formation’s ability to facilitate deep strikes, allowing the Kharga Corps to maintain momentum and reach strategic targets effectively.
