Anantnag prepares security measures for Amarnath Yatra 2026
Anantnag, April 30: SSP Anantnag Amod Ashok Nagpure chaired a high-level meeting at the District Police Office conference hall today to finalize arrangements for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026.
The session included SP Headquarters Anantnag, ASP North, and other senior police officials who gathered to coordinate the safe and smooth conduct of the annual pilgrimage.
During the meeting, officials held detailed discussions regarding security protocols, traffic management, and crowd control strategies. Nagpure emphasized the need for seamless coordination between various departments and stakeholders to maintain a robust security framework.
He directed all officers to remain vigilant and ensure the strategic deployment of personnel across the transit routes.The security review also prioritized the facilitation of pilgrims, with a focus on providing necessary assistance and safety throughout the duration of the yatra.
