Medical Shop Sealed for Violation of Drugs & Cosmetics Act at Lander, Panchari by Udhampur Police

Udhampur 10 December :- Continuing its sustained action against the illegal sale of controlled substances, Police team of Police Station Panchari, while investigating the recovery of 20 capsules of Pregabalin (Schedule H drug) and 30 tablets of Spasmonil made on 01.12.2025 from Hoshiar Singh S/O Rattan Chand R/O Diggi Lander, conducted a follow-up (backward link) action on 10.12.2025.During the inspection Durga Medical Shop at Lander, being run by Krishan Lal S/O Durga Dass R/O Lander, Tehsil Panchari was sealed by the Drug Control Officer Udhampur for violation of the provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, as the shop was being operated without a valid license.

This is the 12th medical shop sealed by Udhampur Police for such violations.District Police Udhampur has issued a stern warning to all medical establishments to strictly adhere to the regulations concerning the sale of controlled drugs. Strict legal action will be taken against those found violating these norms.
