Udhampur ADC Reviews Telecom Infrastructure, Orders Fast-Track Execution of Digital Connectivity Projects

UDHAMPUR, JULY 29 — Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Udhampur, Prem Singh, chaired a District Level Telecom Committee meeting on Wednesday to review the progress of telecom infrastructure, mobile tower installations, and key connectivity issues across the district.

During the meeting, the ADC assessed major initiatives, including the BharatNet Project and the 4G Saturation Programme, which aim to strengthen the region’s digital network. Emphasizing the need for seamless coordination, he directed all stakeholder departments to collaborate closely with telecom operators to promptly resolve pending issues. He further instructed concerned departments and implementing agencies to expedite ongoing projects to ensure enhanced digital connectivity reaches every corner of Udhampur within the stipulated timeframe.
