Army Chief Dhiraj Seth Reviews Operational Preparedness and Tech Innovations in Assam

Dinjan, July 29: Chief of Army Staff Dhiraj Seth visited Dinjan in Assam to review the operational readiness of the Dao Division and Spearhead Division.

During the visit, he was briefed on key operational matters and witnessed the latest technology absorption initiatives and indigenous innovations introduced by the formations. He commended the troops for their focused transformation into a tech-enabled, agile, and future-ready fighting force.

Interacting with the personnel, the Army Chief urged troops to remain vigilant and operationally agile to tackle evolving security challenges while fostering lasting peace and stability in the region. He also took stock of the Indian Army’s ongoing flood relief operations across Assam and instructed formation commanders to extend all possible assistance to help flood-affected communities.
