Ladakh Medical Camp: Trishul Division Brings Specialist Healthcare to Remote Chilam Village

CHILAM, LADAKH — In a major effort to provide accessible healthcare to remote border areas, the Trishul Division of the Indian Army’s Fire & Fury Corps organized a comprehensive multi-specialty medical camp in the isolated village of Chilam, Ladakh, on July 19, 2026.

Designed to bring essential specialist medical services directly to the doorstep of the local population, the initiative focused heavily on maternal and child healthcare. The camp offered free expert consultations across various disciplines, including Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Dental Care, General Medicine, and Ayurveda.

The local community participated enthusiastically in the event, which not only addressed critical healthcare gaps in the rugged region but also significantly strengthened the enduring civil-military bonds between the Indian Army and the residents of Ladakh.
