Srinagar New High Court Complex: High Court Judges Inspect Site, Demand Timely and Quality Completion

SRINAGAR, JULY 09, 2026 — Justice Sanjay Dhar, Chairman of the Building and Infrastructure Committee, alongside committee members Justice Rahul Bharti and Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi, and Justice Shahzad Azeem, conducted a comprehensive on-site inspection of the new High Court Complex in Srinagar to evaluate the pace and progress of its construction.

During the visit, the Executive Engineer of the R&B Project Division-I, Srinagar, delivered a detailed presentation outlining the completed construction phases and detailing upcoming developmental works. In their on-spot assessment, the Judges meticulously reviewed every facet of the project, strictly instructing the executing agencies and relevant authorities to accelerate the workflow to ensure a timely finish.

Crucially, the judicial team emphasized that the acceleration must not compromise on excellence, underscoring that the final infrastructure must adhere to the highest standards of workmanship and quality. The inspection was attended by senior officials, including the Registrar Judicial (Srinagar), Joint Registrar Judicial (Srinagar), Registrar Infrastructure, and various officers from the R&B Department.
