Indian Army Delivers Vital Medical Aid to Remote Villages in Ramban
RAMBAN: 09 Jul 2026 :- The Indian Army conducted a specialized Khairiyat Patrol through the remote terrain of Khari Tehsil in Ramban to deliver crucial medical assistance and basic healthcare support to local residents. During the outreach initiative, Army personnel engaged directly with villagers—focusing closely on elderly residents—to provide comprehensive health check-ups, distribute essential medicines, and administer basic treatments. This targeted mission was designed to bridge the healthcare gap for communities living in far-flung areas, where access to standard medical facilities is severely restricted by challenging geography and significant distances from urban healthcare centers.
Deeply appreciative of the timely intervention, the local population expressed their gratitude for the military’s compassionate outreach. Beyond addressing immediate health concerns, the initiative has further strengthened the bond of trust and mutual respect between the Indian Army and local communities. The successful execution of the Khairiyat Patrol highlights the Army’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the welfare, safety, and overall well-being of citizens residing in the most isolated and border-aligned regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
