Security and deployment reviewed at Zojibal for Shri Amarnathji Yatra

ANANTNAG, JULY 08: Senior Superintendent of Police Anantnag Amod Ashok Nagpure conducted a comprehensive visit to the Zojibal sector to review the security architecture, emergency preparedness, and overall management of the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra.

During the visit, the Senior Superintendent of Police chaired a high-level review meeting with the Camp Director, senior police officers, and representatives of various civil departments to assess the prevailing security scenario, deployment patterns, inter-departmental coordination, emergency response mechanisms, and pilgrim facilitation measures. Instructions were issued to all stakeholders to maintain seamless coordination, ensure a prompt response to any contingency, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism throughout the pilgrimage.

The Senior Superintendent of Police also interacted with the Shri Amarnathji pilgrims to personally inquire about their well-being and travel experience, assuring them that the Anantnag Police, in close coordination with all allied agencies, remains fully committed to providing a secure, peaceful, and hassle-free pilgrimage. The pilgrims expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the police and civil administration.

Additionally, a detailed inspection of the Mountain Rescue Teams and State Disaster Response Force personnel deployed at Zojibal was carried out to review their operational preparedness, rescue equipment, medical support, and emergency response capabilities, with directions given to the teams to remain in a constant state of readiness to extend immediate assistance.
