Assam Rifles Hosts Weapon and Equipment Display for NCC Cadets in Tripura

AGARTALA, TRIPURA JULY 01, 2026 :- The Assam Rifles organized an immersive and interactive weapon and equipment display for National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel in Agartala, Tripura, on June 30, 2026. The specialized event was held as part of the ongoing Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC)-50 and drew enthusiastic participation from over 500 cadets representing the 13 Tripura Battalion NCC. This initiative provided the young attendees with a rare, firsthand look at the advanced equipment and operational capabilities of the Indian Armed Forces, fostering a deeper understanding of national security.

The primary objective of the exhibition was to inspire local youth toward nation-building, raise awareness about the vital role of the Armed Forces, and motivate aspiring cadets to consider rewarding careers in the defence services. Throughout the event, the cadets demonstrated immense curiosity and excitement, leveraging the unique opportunity to interact closely with Assam Rifles personnel and examine military hardware up close.
