Lt Gen Shivinder Singh Accorded Ceremonial Guard of Honour as He Relinquishes Command of AMC Centre and College

LUCKNOW, India — JULY 01, 2026 — Lieutenant General Shivinder Singh, Commandant of the AMC Centre & College, Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Records, and Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps (AMC), was accorded a traditional Ceremonial Guard of Honour to mark the relinquishment of his appointment. To honor the occasion, the General Officer laid a wreath at the AMC War Memorial, paying tribute to the indomitable courage, unwavering valour, and supreme sacrifice of the bravehearts who laid down their lives in service of the nation. The retirement proceedings also featured a special Sainik Sammelan held to commemorate his leadership and address the troops.

The ceremony marks the conclusion of an illustrious military career spanning more than 38 years, during which Lieutenant General Shivinder Singh exemplified exceptional leadership, unwavering professionalism, and selfless devotion to duty.
