All India Nau Sainik Camp 2026 Commences at INS Shivaji as 612 NCC Naval Cadets Begin Maritime Training

Lonavala, India — JULY 01, 2026 — The prestigious All India Nau Sainik Camp (AINSC) 2026 has officially commenced at INS Shivaji, drawing 612 National Cadet Corps (NCC) naval cadets from 17 directorates across the country.

Reflecting a strong emphasis on gender inclusivity, this year’s pan-India event features 204 women cadets who will participate alongside their peers in an intensive 12-day training program. The camp is specifically designed to test the cadets’ mettle under demanding conditions, focusing on core maritime training, leadership development, discipline, teamwork, and outdoor adventure.

As the host institution, INS Shivaji aims to shape and inspire the next generation of Indian seafarers and leaders, fostering a shared ethos under the camp’s unifying theme: “One Camp. One Spirit. One Nation.”
