New Fire Service Assistants Complete Specialized First Aid Training at FTI New Delhi

NEW DELHI, June 27, 2026 — Newly recruited Junior Assistants in the Fire Services department recently underwent specialized first aid training at the Fire Training Institute in New Delhi as part of their Basic Training Course.

The medical training program was conducted by medical experts from Safdarjung Hospital and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. Covering essential topics from cardiopulmonary resuscitation and trauma management to rapid emergency response, the program successfully equipped the recruits with critical life-saving skills to act swiftly during time-sensitive crises.

For firefighters, the first few minutes of an emergency are often the most critical. These essential medical skills enable the new personnel to provide immediate assistance on-site before advanced medical care arrives.

The initiative significantly strengthens their ability to save lives during real-world emergencies, ensuring they serve the public with a higher degree of preparedness and operational confidence.
