Spear Corps Commander Reviews Security Operations and Indo Myanmar Border Preparedness in Mizoram

AIZAWL, June 27, 2026 — The General Officer Commanding of Spear Corps visited an Assam Rifles battalion deployed in Mizoram to review operational preparedness and assess the current security situation along the Indo-Myanmar border.

During the visit, the commander commended the troops for their high level of professionalism, determination, and operational excellence.The commander further appreciated the battalion’s sustained success in handling counter-insurgency, anti-narcotics, and border security operations across the region.

Additionally, the Bevela Lushai Centre was lauded as a beacon of hope for successfully nurturing and shaping the future aspirations of the local youth in Mizoram.
