Sitengal 05 September :- The Indian Army has swiftly responded to a crisis in Sitengal, constructing a temporary footbridge after the area’s primary bridge was severely damaged by heavy rainfall and landslides on September 3rd, 2025.

The natural disaster severed a critical lifeline for local residents, abruptly cutting off access to essential supplies and services. In a decisive move to end the community’s isolation, an Army team was deployed in the early hours of September 4th, moving quickly to begin construction.

Their ongoing efforts have successfully restored vital pedestrian connectivity, ensuring villagers are no longer stranded.
