Jammu 03 September :- The Directorate of School Education Jammu has ordered the closure of all government and private schools across the Jammu Division until September 5, 2025, due to severe inclement weather conditions.
The decision, issued in an official order by Director Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, cites continuous rains, landslides, flash floods, and severe waterlogging in low-lying areas, following an alert from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
To ensure the safety of students and staff, all schools will remain shut. Furthermore, the directive instructs schools to conduct online classes wherever possible to maintain educational continuity and prevent academic disruption.
