Northern Army Commander chairs Synergy Conference 2.0 to review veteran welfare and resettlement

UDHAMPUR, May 16, 2026 :- Northern Command Army Commander Pratik Sharma chaired the Synergy Conference 2.0 to conduct a comprehensive review of key veteran welfare issues.

The high-level meeting brought together multiple stakeholders, including officers from the Zila Sainik Board, to focus on the resettlement of ex-servicemen, providing robust support systems for their dependents, and encouraging their continued participation in nation-building initiatives.During the conference, the Army Commander reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Northern Command toward the veteran community. He urged all participating stakeholders to ensure that the dedicated service and sacrifices of ex-servicemen are met with enduring respect, care, and gratitude. Additionally, the forum deliberated upon the key agendas and proposals to be tabled at the upcoming Rajya Sainik Board meeting to streamline institutional support for veterans.
