Lt Col Chetan Singh Kabsuri Takes Charge As PRO Defence Dehradun

DEHRADUN, May 15, 2026 — Lt Col Chetan Singh Kabsuri has officially assumed the appointment of PRO (Defence) Dehradun. The transition took place during a formal handing and taking over ceremony held at the Public Relations Unit (Defence) in Dehradun.

He succeeds Manish Shrivastava, who completed a three-year tenure in the role.The outgoing officer, Manish Shrivastava, was recognized for maintaining seamless and successful defense media coordination on behalf of the Directorate of Public Relations under the Ministry of Defence during his time in the capital of Uttarakhand.

The handover marks a leadership change for the unit responsible for managing communications and media relations for military activities in the region.
